So, when your family thinks about preserving wealth, what feels the most reassuring or culturally natural to them? Gold, property, business investment, market investment, or a mix of everything?

Anand: So it's only gold and real estate.

Okay, why is that?

Anand: Because the generation before this, as far as I know, hasn't seen any inheritance coming from other instruments. So probably once they saw some inheritance or fruits from these other types of investments, only then would they start believing otherwise — but for now, gold and real estate will always rule.
